Tyler Michael Zubyk

Tyler Michael Zubyk passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2025 at the young age of 32.
Tyler was the beloved son to Sandra McEwen, Step Father Ian and the late Micahel Zubyk Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings Benjamin Zubyk, David McEwen (Lily), Isabelle McEwen and Iain McEwen, as well as his nephews Theo McEwen and Caleb Bullwinkle and many loving Aunt, Uncles and Cousins
Born in Doylestown, Tyler graduated from North Penn High School and from Gwynedd Mercy University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He worked for a number of years at HBK as a tax accountant where he has many colleagues and friends who remember him fondly.
Tyler loved to travel with favorite memories of Scotland and Yosemite National Park, San Francisco and loved spending time in the Poconos with his family searching for new waterfalls. In his younger life he loved to visist the Jersey Shore.
An avid Eagles fan he would spend most Sundays with his family cheering on the team and was thrilled at the 2025 Superbowl result! He was also part of a fantasy football team with friends.
He had two cats, Luna and Lala who he loved and cared for.
Tyler was known as a kind, gentle, loving thoughtful young man who was smart and surprisingly funny often producing one liners that made people laugh.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet Tyler's family on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM, with a Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon at the Freed-Givnish Funeral Home in Glenside. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for lunch afterwards at North Hills Country Club on Station Road.
His interment will take place privately by the family.
