Tyree Chamberlain

Ferl Tyree Chamberlain, 39, passed away after an almost three year battle with cancer on December 3, 2023, at his home in Hurricane, Utah surrounded by family.
Born on September 29, 1984, in Cedar City, Utah to Clarence Ferl and Tina Chamberlain. Tyree grew up in Cedar City and attended Canyon View High School.
Tyree was loved by all who knew him. He was very quiet, kind, smart, well mannered, understanding, and a little bit of a tease.
As a teen, Tyree was an accomplished musician and was a member of the Southern Utah Orchestra. One of his favorite performances was The Messiah at Christmas time.
After high school, Tyree moved with a friend to Ohio, just to try something different. While living in Ohio, his first son Elias was born. Elias was his little man and Tyree would have done anything for him.
After many years away from the mountains and family, he made the long drive home to Utah and soon after in February 2018 he met the love of his life, Kristin Tobin Chamberlain. They married on November 14, 2020, and together they created a beautiful family with Elias, Madison, Jack, and their son Bellamy.
Tyree worked in the food and hospitality industry and found a love of cooking. He treated his entire family to delicious meals. And with the help of his daughter Madi, Tyree even made an elegant four course meal for his wife, Kristin as they celebrated their third anniversary. He took pride in his work, whether it was cooking at a fancy restaurant or backyard BBQ with family.
Tyree's wife and children were his reason for living. He put them first in every thought and action. Jack who has special needs was on his mind and he did everything he could to help Jack. In October Elias was able to come visit his dad one last time. Bellamy's birthday was celebrated early so Tyree could be present. Tyree even made sure all of the kid's Christmas presents were picked out before he passed. Kristin was in his thoughts constantly, from the time they met to the time he passed. He absolutely adored her.
Tyree loved the outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing, shooting, and camping. He also enjoyed playing video games with his children and watching different television series with his family. He was able to take his children to Disney Land even though he didn't love doing things like this, he loved doing it for them.
Tyree was a determined man, and cancer wasn't going to get in the way of helping his family grow and doing the things he loved. He never complained, just made the best of his situation and figured out how to live life around the treatments and side effects. When asked how he was doing, he was always okay or good, never wanting anyone to worry about him.

Tyree is survived by his wife Kristin, his children Elias, Madison, Jack, and Bellamy. His loving parents, Ferl and Tina Chamberlain of Cedar City, UT. Brother Sheridan (Sheena) Chamberlain of Enoch, UT and sister Shiloh Chamberlain of San Diego, CA. His grandmother, Sylvia Chamberlain of Cedar City, UT. Nieces (who were like little siters), Keltsey, Shelby, and Hayley of Cedar City, UT and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Quinn Chamberlain, as well as his Grandfather and Grandmother Sam and Bonnie Bringard.
The family would like to thank everyone who has loved and supported them through this difficult time.
Memorial services will be held January 6, 2024, at 1 PM in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1950 N Coral Canyon Blvd, Washington, UT 84780.
Tyree requested some of his ashes be scattered in the mountains of Southern Utah where he loved to spend his time and had a memorable hunting trip with Sheridan.
