Tyrell King Obituary
December 29th, 1992 - March 6th, 2026
Tyrell Demario "Poohbear" King of Rockford departed this earthly life on March 6th, 2026. He was born December 29th, 1992 in Rockford, IL to Betty Quinby and James King.
Tyrell was a devoted father. He was known for his sense of humor, passion for singing, gaming and fashion.
Tyrell graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended Rasmussen University.
He was employed as a forklift operator by PCI where he made a lasting impression.
Tyrell leaves to cherish many loving memories, two children Nasir and Chanelle King to whom he shared with Shanteya McGrone. Four sisters Chriseana King, E'Lexus Quinby, Tania King, E'Nadia Winters all of Rockford, IL. Three brothers Johnny Quinby, Darryl Quinby of Rockford, IL and Kareem Young of Memphis, TN. Parents Betty Quinby and James King. Grandmothers Rhonda Quinby and Martha (Deronto) Davidson. Special brothers Christian Blake and Andrew Moss II. Special sister Helena Blake-Garden. A host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother Demarcus Hanson. Special brother Robbie Earl Green, Jr. Sister Tyshonna Hanson. Aunt Mikayla Marie Davidson-Jackson. Grandparents James Shelby and Edward Stamper Jr. Great Grandparents Ruth (Ray) Jones, Virginia (Murphy) King and Martha (EB) Shelby.
Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, March 21st, 2026 at Olson Funeral & Cremation Services Ltd. 2811 N. Main Street Rockford, IL 61103. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
