LEATHERBERRY, Rev. Ulice - Age 66, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in Decatur, Georgia.
Family Hour 12:00 PM Saturday August 17, 2024, at Second Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 6046 N. Clio Rd., with funeral service commencing at 1:00 PM, Pastor Rodney Williams, officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 12:00 PM Saturday. Rev. Leatherberry will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and will be viewed only during the family hour. Rev. Ulice Leatherberry was born August 9, 1957 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Ed and Emma R. Leatherberry. He was a resident of Otisville, Michigan. Rev. Leatherberry was a member of Second Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School. Rev. Leatherberry was employed as a Railroad Engineer and founder of Ambassador Logistics. He enjoyed plowing fields, hunting and barbequing.
Rev. Ulice Leatherberry leaves to cherish his memory: children, Alexandria Leatherberry and Thomas Williams; children-in-love, Mario Twine, Dominque Johnson and Desmond Hull; a host of grandchildren; sister, Eddie Mae Nesbitt; nephew, James Julian McIntosh-Leatherberry; sister-in-law, Sheri McIntosh; brother, Robert B. Nesbitt; a host of other relatives and friends.
Rev. Leatherberry was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Leatherberry; 2 brothers, James Leatherberry and Johnny Leatherberry; nephew, Ulice Terrell Leatherberry.
The family would like to express special thanks to Second Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home.
