Vanda Eby

Vanda Eby, of Commerce Twp., MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was 82 years old. She was born in Italy on November 16, 1941 to the late Alfredo and Gina Capizzani.
Vanda came to the United States when she was 23 but continued to travel to Italy each summer to visit her close family and friends. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and enjoying coffee and visits with her neighbors. She was a friend to all who knew her. Above all else, she was a loving mother and nonna. To her, family always came first.
Devoted wife of the late Donald; loving mother of Paola (Russell) and Donald (Justine); cherished nonna of Nicholas, Dana, Evan, Donald, Meghan, and Alex. She is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Adriano.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, MI, on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Gathering to begin at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Vanda's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
