Vanique Bates Obituary
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024 at G. C. Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 1935 W. Broadway Street.
Visitation with family and friends will be from 12-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery.

I am one of her former teachers. Vanique went on a field trip to the livestock show and helped her classmates convince me to rescue a dog there. She then proceeded to carry him throughout the expo center because he was afraid of the floors. The selflessness and love she showed that day will stay with me forever. She is and always will be loved, and I send my heart to the family as well.
