Vanita Hendricks Obituary
Vanita Louise Phillips Hendricks, age 79, of Woodlawn went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. She was born on September 3, 1945, in Rison to the late Clyde Phillips and Louise Wooley Beck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Hendricks, her sister Cindy Beatty and her brother Ronnie Phillips. She graduated from Rison High School and was a faithful member of Rison Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, being with her friends and church family, fishing, being outdoors, and spoiling her grandson.
She is survived by her son Chris Hendricks and his wife Kristen of Woodlawn, her grandson Rhett Hendricks, her brother Roger Phillips, and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Beatty, Kenny Beatty, Jon Luke Hendricks, Jeff Allred, Donald Hackney and Ivan Hendricks.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at Rison Baptist Church with Bro. Cody Robinson and Bro. Wade Totty officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Rison.
