Velia Edith (Clark) Worley, age 72, of Revelo, Kentucky passed away at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital on Friday, May 5, 2023.
Velia was born in Honeybee, Kentucky on December 4, 1950 to the late Kelly Clark and the late Dorothy (Taylor) Clark. She was the widow of Charles Worley Jr. She was known for being a caretaker, frequently caring for those who were about to pass away. She loved gardening, flowers, cooking, and quilting.
Velia was survived by : her sons, Charles Brian Worley (Journey), of Whitley City, Kentucky, Craig Worley, of Whitley City; her daughter, Regina Hall (Lonnie), of Stearns, Kentucky; Her daughter by heart, Brittany Whittaker (Brian) her brothers, Larry Clark, of Revelo, James Taylor, of Stearns; her grandchildren, Mathew Crabtree, Bryson Worley, Zachary Perry, Katie Worley, Kellie Worley, Silas Worley, Chas Hall. Mikkel Beth Whittaker; and her great grandchildren, Keyton Crabtree, Kinzley Isabella Crabtree, John Gabriel Worley, and baby Nora who is still on the way.
Velia’s funeral service will be held at the McCreary County Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 2:00pm EST. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Burial will follow the funeral service and will be in the Ross-Taylor Cemetery in Sawyer, Kentucky.
