Born in Gueydan on December 17, 1941. Velma lived a life defined by love, kindness, and selfless service to others. She is lovingly survived by her children: Bobby Hebert (Karen) of Surfside Beach, TX; Coy Hebert (Cheryl) of Broussard, LA; and Paula Hebert of Gueydan, LA. Velma was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ben and Ella Vondenstein, and her husband, Paul T. Hebert.
Velma was known for her easygoing nature and her love of spending time with family and friends. She found joy in conversation, laughter, and simply being surrounded by those she cared about. She especially cherished the many memories made at the RV park with her dear Las Pay E Bas friends, where laughter, good food, and strong friendships filled her days with happiness.
