Visitation will be Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 12pm – 1 pm at Snyder Funeral Home, Gunder/Hall Chapel, 347 West Center St. Marion, Ohio 43302. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Kevin Kehn officiating. Burial will at Marion Cemetery.
Velma M. Nauman age 81 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at her residence.
She was born January 13, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to the late Bernard and Sadie Lillian (West) Stark.
On October 26,1968 she married Ronald D. Nauman, he preceded her in death on February 26, 2025.
Velma graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1963; she worked for Nation City Bank for several years as a teller/savings supervisor. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and flowers, watching the humming birds, all types of crafting and decorating for Christmas.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Katrina Nauman of Marion, Oh., her nieces, Lori Stark and Mary Landdeck, her nephew, George Hitchcock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Sadie Lilian Stark, her husband, Ronald D. Nauman, her brothers, Bud Hitchcock, Paul Hitchcock, Brian Douglas Stark, Robert Eugene Stark, her sister, Margarite Tharp and her two nephews, Shawn Stark and Langley Hitchcock and her niece, Karen Hitchcock.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 12pm – 1 pm at Snyder Funeral Home, Gunder/Hall Chapel, 347 West Center St. Marion, Ohio 43302. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Kevin Kehn officiating. Burial will at Marion Cemetery.
