Vera Hogan Obituary
Survivors include daughters, Judy H. Burks (Jeff) and Jonna Hogan-Anderson (Greg); grandsons, Jared Seth Anderson and Jacob Evan Anderson; six great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John A. Hogan; granddaughter, Lauren A. Greene; and parents, Calton Wilburn Manasco and Nancy Elva Patton.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Edwin Jenkins and Dr. Kevin Moore officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home assisting the family.
Memorials may be made to Woman's Missionary Union.

The first time I seen her I was working at Dollar General. She was looking for cookie dough mix. It was always too high for her to reach so I would get it for her when I was there. She was always making cookies for her great grandchildren. I loved her and have missed her since she had to stop coming to the store. Wonderful woman.
