Vera H. Pommier

Vera Henrietta Pommier Villa has now passed. Her life was a span of 94 years long. She did so much and lived a beautiful life during her time. Her name was Vera Henrietta Villa, the woman that brought us all here today. She was born on July 15 of 1930, into a family of 11 in this very town of Santa Barbara, she was the baby of her family. And the last Villa to leave this earth. She grew up in a small home on Garden Street. She even attended Santa Barbara high school. And then as a teen she met the love of her life and late husband Paul Pommier. They started a family soon after marriage. In total they welcomed 7 beautiful children into his world. Paula, Jack, Cathaline, Paul Jr, Elisa, Joseph and Maryellen. Over the course of their marriage, they eventually had a beautiful home in Oak View. With a large pool in the back yard and a wall-to-wall fireplace. Vera always wanted to create a home she never had growing up due to the loss of her mother and because of that her kids will now know her in their own individual special way. She worked at Santa Barbara airport and that is where she even retired from. She was a woman of appearance and took pride in her looks. Which is to be expected because she was a beautiful woman. Her scent consisted of Chanel number 5 and pons coll creampons coll cream. Vera may have lost her mom at 12 but if there was 1 thing about Vera Pommier, she was not going out without a fight so she is now leaving us at 94 years old. She lived some life, 94 years, that's a long time. and experienced all there was to experience on this earth and God called her back home.
