Vera was a resident of the Henryville area for the past 20 years and prior to that she resided in the Bronx, New York area. While in the New York area she worked in the garment district for 20 years. Vera was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville and part of the Ladies Guild.
She is survived by her loving son John P. Petruzzi of Henryville, brothers; Robert Petruzzi of Winsor Canada; Luigi Petruzzi of Ft. Pierce, Florida; many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, February 24 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Bartonsville, Pennsylvania 18321 with Fr. Richard E. Czachor as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Mountain Laurel Mausoleum at Laurelwood Cemetery Stroudsburg, Pa. There will be a viewing on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360.
