Veronica D. Bridges, age 63, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness.
She was born on February 16, 1960, in Jasper, Mississippi, to the late Brenell and Mary Ella Campbell Bridges.
Veronica graduated from Academy High School. She was a Christian woman who enjoyed reading her Bible and attending weekly church services. She worked various jobs over the years. Veronica loved spending time with her family, especially her seven grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her in memory, her son, Christopher Bridges Sr; grandchildren, Christopher Bridges Jr (22), Camariyon Bridges (19), Arianna Brown (18), Kri'shon Bridges (15), Ke'Airrah Bridges (14), Armani Bridges (12) and Chris'Zerion Bridges (7); sisters, Mary Ellen Bridges and Wilma Maria Gavins; nieces, Melissa A. Bridges, Nycole A. Begandy (husband Christian) and Mya Copeland; nephews, Eric F. Bridges, Terell Gavins and Antonio Copeland (fiancé Denaysha); and many cousins.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th St., on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Ryan Gaines officiating.
