Veronica Lee "Vickie" Kinne

Veronica Lee "Vickie" Kinne, 84, of Midland, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 with family by her side. She was born June 17, 1941, daughter of the late Floyd D. and Adrienne M. (Campbell) Maxson. A Midlander since birth, Vickie attended Midland schools and graduated from Midland High School in 1959. Soon after, she met Frederick Kinne and the two were married August 10, 1963, spending 62 wonderful years together. Through the years Vickie enjoyed bowling on several leagues and working with the children at Mt. Haley Church of God where she was a member for many years. More than anything, Vickie was the most devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love and dedication to her family is unsurpassed. Vickie was a shining beacon of light and will be missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Fred Kinne; daughter, Kim (Jim) Hossack; son, Patrick Kinne; granddaughter, Madison Hossack; and brothers, Daniel Trogdan and Mike Maxson. In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her grandson, Tanner Hossack and sisters, Jackie Priest, Margaret Tedhams, Carol Maxson, and DeDe Maxson.
Memorial services for Vickie will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, with Pastor Jason Evans officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Senior Services of Midland.
