Vicki Park Barnett, of Lubbock, TX, passed from this life on November 6, 2024, surrounded by
her family.
Vicki was born on August 4, 1955, to Bob and Evelyn (Horton) Park in Lubbock and grew up on
the farm in Acuff, TX, with her siblings, Bobby, Betti, and Patti. She grew up attending
Roosevelt Baptist Church and gave her heart to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a child. Vicki
graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1973, and shortly after started her family with
daughters Annie and Erin.
Vicki is best remembered for being a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, a caring sister, a
doting aunt, and a gracious friend. Vicki married Roy Max Barnett in 2001, and they spent their
life together in Acuff where she loved being on the farm and working in her garden. Her favorite
moments were spending time with those she loved, spoiling her grandkids, and spending
Monday mornings with her Bible study ladies. Vicki not only loved her family and friends, but
she also was an avid dog lover spoiling many dogs during her life.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Evelyn (Horton) Park; and her husband, Roy
Max Barnett.
She is survived by her daughters Angela Wilcox and husband Michael of Dalhart, TX, Erin
Pequeno and fiancé Victor Flores of Lubbock, TX; her grandchildren, Cole, Claire, Cate,
Samuel, and Noah; siblings, Bobby Park and wife Cindy of Lubbock, Betti Whetzel and husband
Lloyd of Lubbock, and Patti Fisher and husband Dan of Cleburne; and many nieces and
nephews.
