Redmon Funeral HomeGREEN - Vicki Lynn Benedetto, 73, died August 19, 2025.
She was known for her big heart and the way she made everyone feel like family. She loved card making, (especially for her church family), teaching card making classes, watching her grandkids play sports, baking treats to share and capturing life’s moments through her photography. Her favorite times with her husband of 53 years included beach vacations, motorcycle trips and of course stopping for chocolate ice cream quite often. To her own grandchildren and to so many others, she was known as “Memaw” - a title she wore proudly and with love.
She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who were blessed to know her.
Preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Donna (nee Jordan) Petrone, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Reba Benedetto, she is survived by her husband John; daughters, Beth (Jason) Constantine of Mogadore and Jennifer (Richard) Nelson of Uniontown; grandchildren, Trevor (Desirae) Nelson of N. Canton, Tyler (Morgan) Nelson of Uniontown, Tave (Hattie) Constantine of Akron and Austin (Ayla) Constantine of Mogadore; great-granddaughters, Jaycie and Lainey Nelson, and brothers, Larry Petrone of Uniontown, Joseph Petrone of Stow and Louis Petrone of Akron.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
Pastor Gordon Hayberg will conduct a memorial service on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10 AM, at Community Life Church, 106 South Cleveland Avenue, Mogadore 44260.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to The ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter, 6133 Rockside Road, Independence, OH 44131 or to Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308.
