Vicki Brendlen

It is with deep love and sorrow that we share the passing of beloved mother, Gigi, and friend, Vicki L. Brendlen. Born on June 9, 1964, in Canton, Ohio, Vicki was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her, radiating warmth and kindness like the sun itself. Her laughter was infectious, her dedication unwavering, and her compassion knew no bounds. She was the epitome of a fighter, a woman who faced life's storms with resilience and grace. As Maya Angelou once said, "You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated."
Vicki was a committed educator who poured her heart into her work, inspiring countless students over the years with her supportive and encouraging nature. Her professional journey also led her to an admirable role as an assistant manager at All American Gutter Protection, a role that she fulfilled with unmatched dedication. Vicki's love for travel, shopping, and going on adventures or watching sports with friends at Mike's Again was important, but the love she had for her family and spending time with them surpassed all. Her children and granddaughter were her universe, the very essence of her being. She loved her friends fiercely and would do anything for them.
Vicki was a woman who found joy in the smallest of things and laughter in the face of adversity. As she navigated the trials and tribulations of life, she remained a pillar of strength and hope, her spirit unbroken. She reminded us, in the words of Robert Frost, that "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on." Vicki's legacy of love, resilience, and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Vicki is survived by her children, Amanda (Larry) Malcolm-Kennedy, Michael Malcolm,Joe Brendlen, her grandchildren Salem and Anna; Uncle Rick (Heather) Decker, and cousins Rick Hardie,Sherri (Josh) Culberson, Laurie (Roy),Emma and Abby Ward.She has been reunited with her parents, Douglas and Linda Decker, her brother Jeffery Decker and her loving husband, Richard Brendlen, in eternal rest.
