Vicki Callan Obituary
Devoted to helping others, Vicki worked with Milwaukee Public Schools' children with special needs. She prided herself on helping others develop independence, find their voice and joy. She was extremely intelligent with sharp, sometimes biting, commentary on life and had a dry sense of humor.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time. We invite you to make donations to the Parkinson's Foundation in Vicki's honor in lieu of sending flowers. Vicki Lynn Callan

Memories of Vicki and I could fill a book. Being only 2 yrs. apart we grew up together experiencing all life's high and low points imaginable. I wouldn't have changed one minute of it. She holds a very special place in my . Vicki being about afoot taller than me ; she never neglected to introduce me to everyone as her "Auntie Linda" with a little kiss on my cheek. Hold your memories of Vicki close to your heart too Callan kids; she was truly one of kind! Love Auntie Linda.

Mom was a raspberry custard aficionado. Here is is a picture of her enjoying one of her favorite treats ever so coolly on a hot summer day. She loved gardening and had a wealth of knowledge of plants and how to care for them. Finally a picture of her at the Shalom Wildlife Zoo. I miss her and am grateful for the time we had together.

Vicki and I were friends sharing the day to day challenges of raising our young children after meeting through Family Montessori School. We set aside mornings to have coffee for us and play for the children. It is with fond memories that I recall Vicki's wit and humor in those long ago times. My condolences to Meghan, Kevin, Cara, Kate, Nora and the entire Callan Family.
