Vicki Lynn Stenson

Vicki L. Stenson, age 76, of Annandale, died Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Annandale Care Center with her loving husband at her side.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Todd Nelsen will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date at the Howard Lake Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Children's Minnesota.
Vicki Lynn Anderson was born June 2, 1948, in Minneapolis to Dale and Lorna (Yager) Anderson. She grew up primarily in Robbinsdale, graduating from Robbinsdale High School. As a young single mom living in an apartment in Brooklyn Park, Vicki met her neighbor and soul mate, Charles Stenson. They were united in marriage on November 27, 1971, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wright.
Vicki worked in many places over the years. She worked primarily as a secretary, but also milked cows with her husband for a short time among other things. Her primary job was always taking care of her family and keeping a watchful eye on her husband.
Vicki's life revolved around her family and her home. A dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and wife, her family was her greatest joy. She found fulfillment in caring for her loved ones and creating a nurturing and loving environment in her home.
With a passion for animals sparked by a horse named Promise, Vicki developed a deep love for all creatures, especially her numerous dogs and cats over the years. She enjoyed crafting, antiquing, and treasure hunting, always on the lookout for unique finds and hidden gems.
Vicki will be dearly missed by her husband, children, and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. In her memory, let us remember her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the unconditional love she bestowed upon her family. May she rest in eternal peace.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck; children, Tiffany (Marty) Opem of Waite Park, Melissa (Steve) Keute of Annandale, Chad (Melissa) Stenson of South Haven, Jesse (Berenice) Stenson of Tulare, CA, Joanna (Dustin) Markwardt of Kimball, Sam Stenson of Tulare, CA, Arthur Stenson of Waite Park, and Benjamin Stenson of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Brandon (Ashley) and Mathew Cox, Caitlynn and Sarah Keute, Devin, Kendra, Ruben, and Allan Stenson, Luke and Mariah Markwardt; brother, Ross (Liz) Anderson of Dassel; sister, Cindy Anderson of Litchfield; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jeffrey Cox; and an infant brother, Wayne.
Vicki's grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
