Vickie L. Cudworth, age 72, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
Vickie was born in Plymouth on July 27, 1952, to the late Glenn and Doris (Speckmann) Williamson. She graduated in the class of 1970 from Plymouth High School and continued her education as a beautician in Green Bay. On July 28, 1973, Vickie was united in marriage to Glenn Cudworth at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Vickie spent the majority of her career at Piggly Wiggly in Howards Grove, retiring in 2012. She wore many hats within Piggly Wiggly, but her biggest impact was in the bakery department decorating cakes for the community. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove while also being a part of the knitting club.
Vickie loved knitting, painting, ceramics, baking, and was a part of tatting and gardening clubs. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, creating many memories and gifts they will keep forever.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Glenn Cudworth; children Sarah (Ed) Brown and Brian (Christy) Cudworth; one granddaughter, Brielle Brown; a step-grandson, Gage (Kaylee Wise) Adams; a brother-in-law, Ray Cudworth and nieces, Karen (James) Vasconi and Brenda Cudworth.
Along with her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her sister, Wendie Cudworth.
A Memorial Service for Vickie will be held at NOON on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd in Howards Grove with Pastor Noah Fremer officiating. Family will greet visitors, on Friday at the funeral home, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Vickie will be inurned at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in Kohler.
Memorial donations can be made in Vickie's name to either St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital or to the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the excellent care given to Vickie.
