Springfield, Missouri
Kayla Nicole Cudworth, 36 years, 3 months, and 17 days old, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, at Cox Medical Center South, in Springfield, Missouri, with family by her side.
Kayla was born February 15, 1989, in Springfield, Missouri, to Gary Cudworth and Sandra Sue (Ward) Cudworth.
Kayla loved the Lord and was saved at a young age.
She grew up in Ava, Missouri and graduated from Ava High School in 2006.
Kayla worked as a waitress and loved it. She was employed by Iguana Roja Restaurante in Ozark, Missouri. She was fun, loving, and adored her two cats, Rax and Iris. She loved visiting with people, and she loved her Kansas City Chiefs.
Kayla was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Charles Edward Cudworth, Lawrence Edward Ward, and Jim Irby.
Kayla is survived by her mother, Sandra Cudworth; her father, Gary (Shawna) Cudworth; her grandmothers, Colene Irby and Irma Ward; her aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Cremation services for Kayla are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri. There will be a private family celebration of her life. Memorial donations can be made as a love offering to help with expenses.
