Vickie L. Edwards, age 68, of Alliance, passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer on August 5, 2025.
Vickie was born on October 29, 1956 to Robert C. Edwards and Edna M. (Kuntzman) Edwards.
She worked in the transportation industry for over 36 years. Vickie was a devoted member of the First Immanuel United Church of Christ.
In life she enjoyed participating in and attending craft shows. Vickie was an avid cat lover and fed and cared for many strays as well as having a few special cats of her own. She was also a collector of elephant figurines and pictures. She especially enjoyed playing cards with her friends from high school.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Robert E. (Richelle) Edwards and their son, Hunter; sister, Karen (Pete) Bendt and their son, Christopher (Megan) Bendt; along with numerous friends and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Lester and Corrin Kuntzman and Don and Cora Edwards.
Per Vickie’s request, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, Vickie requested donations be made to Summa Hospital Cancer Center, 161 N Forge St, Akron, OH 44304 or Angels for Animals, 4750 W South Range Rd, Canfield, OH 44406.
