Mrs. Vickie Marie Hicks

Mrs. Vickie Marie Hicks, 65, beloved wife of thirty-five years to William Lee "Billy" Hicks, entered into rest peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024.
A lifelong area resident, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Pearl Campbell Cochran, but was raised by her uncle and aunt, David and Louise Campbell. She was formerly employed by the Hickman Division of the Graniteville Company and for many years she was employed by Robert and Betty Meadows who loved her as a daughter. Vickie enjoyed camping, wetting a hook, watching westerns, and rocking in her rocking chair. Vickie was happiest when she was in the mountains in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
Additional family members include her children and their spouses, Michael and the late Debra Wilson and Tina and Steven Evreniadis and their daughter, McKenzie and even though grandchildren, she raised them as her own children, Raven Randall and Hunter Hunt and his spouse, Andrew, siblings, Lonnie and Thelma Campbell, Sonny and Trixie Campbell, Bubba and Dorothy Campbell, Harold and Paula Campbell, Tommy and Melissa Campbell, Vivian and Aubry Shearer and Lucille and BW Swearingen, sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Steve Fenstermacher, brothers and sister-in-laws, Ricky and Betty Hicks and Lowell and Karen Hicks and close friends, Lester and Kim Wilson.
Friends will be greeted by the family on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 5 until 7 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 11 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor Pennye Duncan will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Blake Shearer, Cody Shearer, Thomas Enfinger, Ron Craven, Michael Gray and Kenny Burkett.
