Vickie King Obituary
Vickie was born December 4, 1965 in Buncombe County. She was a graduate of Enka High School where she was blessed with many friendships and Vickie had been employed at Gentry Service Group as a bookkeeper and where she worked with some of her closest friends. As we remember our beloved Vickie we shall never forget her greatest joys, riding horses, barrel racing and most importantly, spending time with her loved ones. Her memory will forever be held in our hearts.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, George King; her daughter, Katie; her parents, Jerry and Phyllis Rich ; also a special friend who was loved like a daughter, Laura Shipman (Phillip).
Vickie was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers the King family kindly ask that they each be remembered with thoughts and prayers.
A celebration of life service to honor the life of Vickie will be held at a later date.
Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the King family.

Vickie was such a beautiful soul and person. Every time I spoke with her she was just delightful. We are so saddened to hear of her loss at Ken Wilson Ford. Prayers, thoughts and hugs for healing from God to you George and Katie and all who are hurting. Take care and we are always here for you!! We love you guys!
