A funeral service officiated by Deacon William "Billy" Vincent will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 11, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Vickie Laviolette, 47, who passed away on August 8, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Broussard Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Broussard, Bruce Hebert, Kirk Alleman, Steven Conde, Charles Easterling, Eaton Hebert, and Vince Conde.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue Monday, August 11, 2025, from 8:00 AM until the services at 1:00 PM.
Vickie had a passion for the beach, where she found joy and relaxation. She was known for her warm smile and her kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to those around her.
She is survived by her son, Alex Gaspard and fiancée, Sarah of Kaplan; two grandchildren, Carter and Ava Gaspard of Kaplan; three siblings, Sarah Conde and husband, Vince of Kaplan, Marie Alleman and husband, Kirk of Kaplan, and Eaton Hebert and wife, Sandra of Crowley; and her godchild, Angel Hebert of Jennings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Laviolette; one sister, Susan Broussard; and her parents, Sidney Hoffpauir and the former Mary LeMaire Richard.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Vince Conde and Marie Alleman for their care and compassion, and the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
