Vicky Lynn Brainard

Vicky Lynn Brainard, 73, died Friday, August 23rd, 2024, at Comperes Nursing Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00va.m. Tuesday at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland followed by a family graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Tuesday at Sebrell Funeral Home.
Vicky was born on May 2nd, 1951, to the daughter of the late, Frederick W. Brainard, Jr. and Marion E. Brainard. She graduated in 1969 from Denbigh High School. A longtime resident of Clinton, she retired as a unit clerk from CMMC.
Vicky loved to travel with her family and enjoyed writing letters to family and friends.
Along with her parents, Frederick W. Brainard, Jr. and Marion E. Brainard, she is preceded in death by a brother Fred Brainard. Vicky will most be remembered as a cherished mother, a beloved grandmother and great grandmother and loving sister and friend.
She is survived by daughters, Bobi Slade (Scott) of Terry, MS, and Robbi Harrell (Robert) of Terry, MS; five grandchildren, Jonathan Slade (Kimberly), Michael Slade, Harlie Bardwell, Megan Shaw (Chris), and Nathan Harrell; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Barrack of Philadelphia, MS, and Gail Hollingsworth (Gary) of Meridian, MS; and numerous other family members.
