Vicky Jo Welter, the daughter of Carol and Flora (Summers) Knowles, was born on August 8, 1946, in Dakota City, Iowa. After Vicky's schooling, she attended one year of Beauty College. She owned and operated her own Pest Control business until her retirement.
Vicky enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends; especially her pets J.D and Ellie Mae. She also enjoyed farming and going to the casino with friends.
Left to cherish Vicky's memory are her children: Carol (Paul) Chapin of West Palm Beach, Florida, Frank (Melissa) Altman of Sayre, Pennsylvania and Matt (Amanda) Welter of Rolfe; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister: Paula (Jerry) Dahl of Rutland; sisters-in-law: Kathy Knowles of Humboldt and Bessie Knowles of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Carol and Flora Knowles and brothers: Michael, Dennis, John and Timothy Knowles.

My condolences to Vicky's family. Vicky and I were classmates growing up. I will always remember her smile and what a kind person she was.
