Victor James Diffenderfer, 65, of Chambersburg, passed away surrounded by family after a long battle with Huntington's Disease on July 23, 2025. He was born June 10, 1960, in Chambersburg, the son of Charles E. Diffenderfer.

He graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School and Vo.Tech in 1979, where he studied machinery. He was then employed with TB Woods in Chambersburg then JCI (Frick Co.) in Waynesboro for over 40 years. His time spent at the machine shops resulted in many friendships which he carried closely in his heart.

Victor married his wife, Barbara, in May 1981 and they enjoyed hunting, fishing, vacationing in the Outer Banks with family, watching their grandchildren's sporting events, watching his boys (Dallas Cowboys) on television, Friday evening dinners with friends and there was not a veggie or fruit that challenged him to grow. There was not a thrill that "Big daddy Vic" would miss out on. If there was a roller coaster to ride, wave to jump or tree to climb he was the first one in line.

Victor is survived by his wife Barbara A. (Rowe) Diffenderfer, daughters; Amanda L. Diffenderfer of Durham, NC, Tabitha A. Souders of Chambersburg, PA, grandchildren; Addison F. Souders, Avyanah G. Souders, Braxton T. Davis, Brycen R. Davis and James M. Coffey, siblings; Sabrina Diffenderfer, Cedric Diffenderfer, and Beth Smith.

Preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Diffenderfer (Chase).

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 7:00 PM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
