Victor Lee Guidry passed on to his eternal rest on February 21, 2025. He was born in San Antonio Texas on September 16, 1954 to Francis Lee Guidry and Doris Dee Wallace Guidry. Victor met the love of his life Linda Coldewey in Lytle and they married on April 11, 1974. They enjoyed 50 happy years of marriage.
Victor was a carpenter and enjoyed building and constructing new projects. Many of his creations can be found in many family members homes. Victor never met a stranger and was the family prankster. He loved teasing people and always had a joke for you. But most of all he was known for his leadership within the family. He was their strength and will be missed. Victor adored his grandchildren, his legacy.
Family that have preceded him in death are his parents, his son Michael Guidry, and brothers Wade and Bruce Guidry.
Those left to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy are his wife Linda Coldewey Guidry of Lytle, daughter Mary Owens (Clifton) of Vidor, grandchildren Deeanna Washington of Vidor, Jazmine Brown (Garrick) of San Antonio, Isabella Owens of Vidor, and his step grandchildren Trinity Hierl (Karic) of Omaha, Nebraska, and Mikey Owens of Lubbock, brother Alan Guidry of Lytle, a sister Gayle Guidry Pacheco (Thomas) also of Lytle, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 6PM-8PM at Vinyard Funeral Home. A Funeral Service to celebrate Victor's life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1PM at Vinyard Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Floresville City Cemetery.
