Victor M. Ricardo, 77, died Thursday, June 19, 2025, at his home in Stoughton, after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer, surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Sao Pedro, on the island of Santa Maria in the Azores, Portugal, he was raised and educated on Santa Maria. He later moved to the island of Flores where he met his future wife Maria G. Garcia. In 1971, they married and together they spent over 54 years together and raised two beloved sons. In 1981, they moved their young family to the United States and settled in Stoughton. Victor worked as an assembler at Solar Seal in Easton for over 30 years and retired in 2012 and was a member of the Glaziers Union, Local 1044. He was a gifted auto mechanic and worked for AJ Costa in Stoughton for several years prior. Victor loved to tinker around his yard and house and could fix almost anything. He was a devoted and loving grandfather and loved meeting his grandkids at the bus stop and at school pickup. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Maria G. (Garcia) Ricardo of Stoughton, he is survived by his two sons, Paulo J. Ricardo and his wife Kristin of Stoughton and Joe G. Ricardo and his wife Lisa of Raynham. He was the brother of Celina Ricardo of Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal, Margarita Soares of CA and the late Jesuina Ricardo, Silvina Ricardo Van Riel, Ines Magalhaos and Henrique Ricardo. He was the loving grandfather of Mya, Christopher, Daniel and Anthony Ricardo and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday morning from 8:30-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Victor’s name may be made to American Cancer Society, 9 Riverside Rd., Suite 3, Weston, MA 02493.
