Vilma Deans-Burke Obituary
Vilma grew up in Greenland, Hanover. She moved to the U.S. to pursue her nursing career and married Aston Burke in 1980, who predeceased her in 2018.
She is survived by her son, Alwin Burke and his wife Damaris Burke; her siblings, Marva Duffus and her husband Leroy, June Beverley Watson, Earl Watson and his wife Barbara, Everod O. Samuels and his wife Dacia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, including Rema Green and Mr. Charlie ("Cha Cha").
Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 31 at 11:00 Am at the Celestial Praise Church of God, 321 Wilbraham Road, in Springfield. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield.
