Vinai Kamolsiri Obituary
Vinai "Vinny" Kamolsiri, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on June 24, 2024. Born on April 28, 1945, in Bangkok, Thailand, Vinai was the beloved son of Chitr and Champa Kamolsiri. On October 21, 1972, he married the love of his life, Lesa Reece, and together they shared 51 wonderful years, building a beautiful life together. Vinny earned his bachelor's degree from the College of the Ozarks and retired from Baldor. Known for his warm hospitality, Vinny always made everyone feel at home, ensuring they had plenty to eat and drink. He cherished being surrounded by family and friends, and he left this world in the same way he lived-surrounded by his loving family. A man of Christian faith, Vinny was a devoted member of Harvest Time Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Vinny is survived by his beloved wife, Lesa Kamolsiri; his children, Jesse and wife Marcy Kamolsiri, Mark and wife Tabbatha Kamolsiri and Sarah and husband Martin Wilke; his seven grandchildren, Lela, Ethan and Claire Kamolsiri, Lincoln and Harrison Wilke and Addison and Jordan Kamolsiri; his siblings, Yenchitt and husband Veerasak Chullakesa, Vandee and wife Sacha Kamolsiri, Arin Kamolsiri, Pimpar Kamolsiri, Chaiyarerk and wife Kim Kamolsiri; his memory will live on by a host of family and friends. Those who preceded him in death were his parents, Chitr and Champa Kamolsiri; his son, David Kamolsiri; and brother Vantana Kamolsiri. Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Friday June 28, 2024 at the River Glenn Chapel, 1805 North A Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Kemp Holden will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Harvest Time Church, 3100 Briar Cliff Avenue, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
