Vincent "Vince" John Maggio, age 64, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023.
He was born in Parsippany, New Jersey, on December 28, 1958, to the late Benedict Maggio and Gloria Cannozarro Maggio.
Vince is survived by his wife, Angie Caudill Maggio; a stepdaughter, Amber Staton (Toby Bowling) of Morehead; two brothers, Anthony Maggio (Myra) of Palm Bay, Florida, and Ben Maggio (Joy) of Galloway, New Jersey; one sister, Theresa Maggio of Tequesta, Florida; three step grandchildren, Madelyn Staton, Bently Bowling, and Ryland Bowling; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Vince cherished his family as well as his two dogs, Baby Bear (Chiweenie) and Chloe (Chihuahua).
Vince served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He was a self-employed construction worker, a former U-Haul representative, and a former Morehead Utility Plant Board employee. A motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and traveling with his wife. He was a member of Jesus Our Savior Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
A funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 2 p.m. with Bruce McClurg presiding. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation for Vince Maggio will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to assist with expenses or to STAR (Saving the Animals of Rowan), P. O. Box 454, Morehead, KY 40351.
