Vincent F. Mascari, Jr. December 30, 1957 - March 27, 2025 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent F. Mascari, Jr., a beloved husband, stepfather, and friend, who departed this life on March 27, 2025, in Brookshire, Texas, at the age of 67.,Born on December 30, 1957, in Houston, Texas, Vincent brought warmth, laughter, and a spirit of kindness to everyone around him, leaving behind a legacy of love.
Vincent was the cherished son of Vincent Mascari Sr. and Sylvia Palermo Mascari, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Angelo and Lena Mascari and Mike and Lena Palermo, as well as his dear aunt, Camille Sumner and husband, Charles, who held a special place in his heart. Growing up in Houston, Vincent graduated from Waltrip High School, where he forged friendships that would last a lifetime. He went on to dedicate himself to his profession as a Master Electrician. He was a proud member of the Catholic faith and the Knights of Columbus, as well also a Committee Member for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, supporting local cultures and traditions.
Known for his big heart, Vincent lit up every room with his joyful laugh and radiant smile. His easygoing nature and willingness to help anyone in need endeared him to countless friends. He found joy in life's simple pleasures-relishing Italian and Chinese food, hanging out with his dogs, and spending time on horseback. In April 2010, Vincent married Andrea Sanders-Mascari, in Brookshire, Texas, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a devoted stepfather to Alex and Brittany Rosales, proud father-in-law to Austin Meyer, and a doting grandfather to his precious grandson, Jameson. His family circle was further enriched by his mother-in-law, Ilse Sanders, sisters, Angela Mascari Montalbano (John) and Michelle Mascari, nephews, John Jr. and Vincent Montalbano (Stephanie), and sisters-in-law: Lorna Sullivan, Linda Clark (Brad) and Lugene Schindling (Jim). Vincent also leaves behind many cousins-Charles, Cynthia, Cheryl, Carol, Caren, and Cathleen-along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family in Germany and Pennsylvania. And finally, he leaves behind his beloved dogs, Bolt and Baylor, who brought him endless joy and comfort.
A funeral service celebrating Vincent's life will be held at St. Faustina Catholic Church in Fulshear on April 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where friends, family, and community members will come together to honor his memory and the impact he had on so many lives. Father Dat Hoang will serve as Celebrant, ensuring that Vincent's spirit is celebrated with the dignity and warmth he exemplified throughout his life.
