Vincent P. Palumbo, 72, of East Providence, passed away on March 24, 2025 at the HopeHealth Hospice Inpatient Center. He was the husband of Gail (Dusza) Palumbo for 51 years.
Vincent was a retired truck driver for Garelick Farms. He enjoyed watching sports, particularly the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and the Providence College Friars. Vincent was known to have a “Green Thumb”, often tending to his lush lawn described as friends “like a golf course”. He was also known for his quirky sense of humor. He had a great smile and had a knack for making connections with everyone he met.
Besides his wife, Gail, he is survived by three children, Lisa Palumbo, Vincent Palumbo, Jr. and Andrew Palumbo, three grandchildren, Anthony, Cassidy, and Sophia, and one great-granddaughter, Gia. Vinny also held dear to his heart Heather Palumbo and Victoria Toback who brought so much love and joy to him. He was predeceased by his In-laws, Walter and Celia Dusza, who lovingly welcomed him into their family.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11 am in the chapel at Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston.
