Vincenzo Cerasoli

Vincenzo Cerasoli, 86, of Berwick, died Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Berwick.
Born May 19, 1938 in Balsorano, Italy, he was the son of the late Matteo and Emma (Troiani) Cerasoli. He came to this country and worked very hard to become a U.S. citizen, and made a great life for himself and his family.
Mr. Cerasoli was employed at Berwick Weaving and was the head mechanic for C & D Waterproofing in New York and New Jersey. From Sky Climber, he received a Certificate of Completion in the Service Mechanic Training Course in the Specifications, Safe Operations, Inspection, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Bench Repair, Rigging and OSHA Regulations.
Vincenzo was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Berwick, the Maria Assunta Society, the Garibaldi Society, and a social member of the Catholic War Veterans.
He enjoyed gardening, music, dirt bikes, and spending time with his grandchildren. A skilled mechanic, he could fix anything.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, the former Cheryl Snyder, who died February 4, 2014; and his son, Vincenzo Cerasoli who died Novemebr 14, 2005.
Vincenzo is survived by his son, Matteo Cerasoli and his wife, Erica, of Charlestown, WV; his daughter, Kimberly Anna Cerasoli of Berwick; six grandchildren: Gabriella Brown, Garrett Brown, Matteo D. Cerasoli, Salvatore Cerasoli, Annabella Cerasoli, and Francesca Cerasoli; two great-grandchildren: Michael Vincent and Logan Matthew; three brothers: Mario Cerasoli and his wife, Judith, Antonio Cerasoli and his wife, Anna, and Fernando Cerasoli and his wife, Sharon, all of Berwick; his sister, JoAnn, wife of Peter Colone, of Berwick; a daughter-in-law, Julie Cerasoli Kishbaugh and her husband, Todd; a niece, Lisa; and five nephews: Jamie, Peter Jr., Marco, Antonio, and Roberto.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 721 Monroe Street, Berwick, with Rev. William T. Barbee, his pastor, officiating as Celebrant.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick.
