He was born April 2, 1938 in Bayonne, NJ son of the late Vincenzo and Lucy Cara Polera Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jane Freeman Polera; son, James Polera and wife Janine of Boiling Spring Lakes; daughter, Elizabeth Butrim and husband Jason of Burgaw; six grandchildren;six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, William Polera; and sister, Mary Tortora.
Vincenzo loved music and singing. He enjoyed the golden oldies and Frank Sinatra. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday December 27, 2023 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery. Reverend father Roger Malonda Nyimi will officiate.
