Violet Clack Obituary
Born April 25, 1920, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Constantine "Kosten" and Maria Demko. She was married to Vernon "Bob" Clack whom on July 27, 1946, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He predeceased her in April 23, 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Michael, George, and Alexander, and sisters: Katy Mazurenko and Rose Melnyk.
She is survived by her daughters: Rona (Joe) Maxedon of Cookeville, TN who were her caregivers for over 29 years and Sandra (Mike) Gunter of Alamo, Texas, three grandchildren: Sherrie (Gary) Sommers (who also was a caregiver) of Texas, Jeff (Lisa) Albers of Colorado and Tami (Todd) Rutz of Illinois, two great grandchildren Thomas Jefferson Albers and Matthew Albers.
She worked for Swift's in Canada, East Peoria Community High School and Key Industries in East Peoria.
She loved to travel and went on trips with Rona and Joe to Canada, Hawaii, St. Thomas USVI, St. Martin, Antigua, The Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Puerto Rico, Belize, Grand Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Roatan, and Mahogany Bay, Skokie Mountains, and Myrtle Beach. She went on a US Navy Tiger cruise on USS Acadia with her granddaughter who was deployed on that ship
Cremation was accorded and the ashes will be scattered at a later date.
She was loved by everyone who met her. Memorials can be made to Meals on Wheels or Freed-Hardeman scholarship fund at Willow Ave Church of Christ, 1150 S. Willow Avenue, Cookeville, Tennessee38506.
