Violet M. Lueth

Services for Violet May Lueth, 92, of Fairmont, MN will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fraser Township. Burial will be following the service in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at the church. Violet passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Lakeview Methodist Healthcare Center. She will be greatly missed by her family, but they take comfort knowing she is in Jesus loving care.
Violet was born on August 22, 1932, to Gustav and Rosa (Behrens) Kutnink in Waverly Township. She attended Zion Lutheran Parochial School and graduated with honors from Fairmont High School in 1950. Violet was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church where she was baptized, confirmed, and married to Arlo Lueth. They were later divorced.
Violet was a kind and gentle person, who always treated others with courtesy and respect. She was a strong and loving mother, guiding her children by her Christian values. She had a very strong work ethic, as she worked full-time in town and managed the farm, all while raising four children. As the grandkids came along, she enjoyed spending time with them and attending their numerous activities. When she moved from the farm to Fairmont, she created a welcoming home for her children and grandchildren's frequent visits and always had ice cream treats in her garage freezer to share with them.
She loved getting together with the Tuesday evening friends, sharing life stories, and having a cocktail or two. Later in life, she enjoyed spending time and traveling with her companion, Marlin Milbrandt. Her family and friends were what mattered to her most and brought her the greatest joy.
Violet is survived by children, Michael (Naomi) Lueth, Michele Miles (fiancé Jerry Luinenburg), Mitchell (Lisa) Lueth, and Myron (Jackie) Lueth; six grandchildren and their spouses, Simon (Erica), Emily (Andrew), Lucas (Alexis), Lindsey, Rose, and Jacob; four great grandchildren; as well as many other extended family and friends.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents, siblings - Victor Westendorf, Irene Erickson, Mildred Werling, Arlo Kutnink, Lavera Claeys, and Elmer Kutnink; and companion, Marlin Milbrandt.
