Virgil Dohack Obituary
The beloved husband of Joyce Dohack (nee Fearnley) for 61 years; cherished father of Virgil Dohack and Rhonda Bourquin (Tom) treasured grandpa to Shane, Trevor and Wesley Bourquin; dear brother of Virginia Perstrope (Roy) and was preceded by William Dohack, Howard Dohack, Melvin Dohack, Esther Steiner, Alvina Schmidt; he was also preceded by his parents, William and Elizabeth Dohack (nee Seipp). Virgil was a loving cousin, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.
Virgil worked for McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing for 33 years, being a member of the IAM Local 837. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville. Virgil enjoyed fishing, woodworking and was happiest spending time with his grandsons and his family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 3:00-7:00 pm at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, 63304. The funeral mass will be on Friday, January 23, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Road, Cottleville at 10:30 am. Memorial contributions have been suggested to Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes.
