Virginia L. Bole, of
East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, at the East Liverpool City Hospital. Born on September 7, 1961, in East Liverpool, she was 64 years old at the time of her passing.
A lifelong resident of East Liverpool, Virginia graduated from East Liverpool High School with the class of 1980. Known for her warm smile and kind demeanor, she was a friendly face at Wendy's Restaurant from 1998 to 2010, where she could often be found at the drive-thru window or working the register at the counter.
Virginia had a profound love for crocheting, earning her the affectionate nickname "Happy Hooker" from family and friends. Her passion extended to knitting blankets, bringing warmth and comfort to those around her. She also enjoyed shooting pool and was an active member of a local league. In her earlier years, she communicated with others through CB radio, going by the handle "Homemaker." Virginia cherished spending time at the Warf, gazing at the river, and attending local community events, which made her a familiar face to many in the community.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carol (Phillips) Bole; her companion and father of her children, Terry Haney; and her sister, Brenda Higgins.
She is survived by her beloved children, Amber (Kevin Reynolds) Haney and Christopher Haney, both residing in East Liverpool. Her cherished grandchildren, Kayden Haney and Kayzlee Haney, were the joy of her life. Virginia is also survived by her sister, Karen Bole, of East Liverpool, and her brothers, Matthew Bole of West Point, and Chuck Bole of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Virginia's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and the countless friends she made throughout her life. Her legacy of love, warmth, and community spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
