Mom, Grandma or Jenny as she was called, was a wonderful lady. From her own account she enjoyed life growing up. She loved school, she made all A's in school. In high school she was a member of the national honor society.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, reading her Bible, gardening, watching television and enjoying listening to Christian music.

She was caring, full of encouragement, generous, intelligent and talkative. She enjoyed talking on the phone for hours with family. Receiving a call from her first thing in the morning, which was generally around 7:30 a.m., was common, and yes that included weekends. Grandma was like most of us, she had her moments of being stubborn, but it was in love; that was Grandma, being Grandma.

For employment, she did what she enjoyed, childcare development. As for her personal business, she maintained impeccable records and lived within her means. As a mom and grandma, she always puts her family first by sending everyone birthday and Christmas cards along with money for her kids. She arranged and financially prepared for her own funeral.

Grandma was a wonderful lady who was concerned and placed the needs of others before her own. She was a devout Christian, who would share the gospel with everyone she met and talked to. She maintained a detailed prayer journal and prayed for the needs of others daily.

She wrote her own biography in 1997; she was blessed with an additional grandson and great grandchildren. She was blessed with ten grandchildren, six grandsons, four granddaughters and eleven great grandchildren. As she noted, her family was very important to her, and she enjoyed spending as much time with her family as possible.
