Virginia was born in Ricardo Flores Magon, Chihuahua Mexico and grew up in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua and El Paso, Texas. She attended Father Yermo in El Paso also attended and enjoyed high school at La Prepa del Chamizal. Here is where she met Benito Marquez whom she married and had 3 children. Virginia graduated from UTEP with a Metallurgical Engineering degree and worked in family businesses, owning several businesses as well, working the last years as an Independent Insurance Broker. She enjoyed meeting and making friends everywhere she went. She was one to say "hello" first as she was a very friendly and caring woman. She truly enjoyed to travel and spend time with family, friends and most importantly her 3 children. Virginia was actively involved in several social clubs in Juarez, El Paso, Dallas, Fort Worth and Lubbock.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Leopoldo Castano & Bertha Lopez Castano, brother Ivan Castano and her husband Benito Marquez,
She is survived by her 3 children; Nasser Marquez, Marynka Marquez, Gabriel Luna, son-in-law Joe Luna, brother Omar Castano, niece Zsanett Castano, sister Karina Castano-Tognetti and brother-in-law Carlo Tognetti, nephews; Renzo Tognetti & Stefano Tognetti, aunts; Alma Lopez & Nohemí Castano, uncle Sergio Castano.
