I am just seeing Virginia's obituary. I'm sorry to see it, but realize she lived a long life. I grew up across the street from Homer & Maybelle. My condolences to the family. Hello Kay. What a nice article commemorating her life. Terry Finney McGahan

Ginny was always a bright light in this world! So positive and fun to be around. She's right up there with my most admired women. Tina, Tim, JoAnn, Brad and family..I send love and prayers. I know Gene was waiting with open arms.

My heartfelt condolences to Virginia's family and friends. My sister, Trena, and I met Virginia in the late 80's - 90's at the Hanford House, taking line dancing lessons from Bobby Wright. We became fast friends (once we started talking). We were part of the first group to join Bobby's Wranglerettes. We had so much fun, traveling to Pismo and other competitions. We went camping at Wishon with her and Gene. What happens at Wishon, stays at Wishon! When Gene turned 60 we floated down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Fun times, some of my most precious memories. Virginia was a kind and caring person, always happy and smiling... except when she was cold! (if you know, you know! LOL). If you knew Virginia, you loved Virginia. It was impossible not to. May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her. I know they are to me. Travel on angel wings, my friend.
