VIRGINIA P. COPPER

Virginia P. Copper, 86, of Ronks, went home to be with our Lord peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at her home. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Schmidt) Pignatore. She was the wife of the late Harry Copper Sr. who passed away in 1998.

She retired as a courthouse clerk after many years in the Delaware County area of PA.

She was a loving Mother, Mommom, and Great Grandmother whose life was filled with joy, connection, and faith. She treasured time spent with her family and delighted in simple pleasures, whether playing bingo and rummy cube, traveling, or sharing laughter with her beloved gal pals. Her faith guided her, and she enjoyed attending church services. She had an unforgettable smile and an infectious laugh. She loved her dogs as they were also her family. Above all, she will be remembered for her kind heart, joyful spirit, and the deep love she shared with those around her, a love that will live on in the hearts of her family forever.

She was also predeceased by her sister Shirley Ferrara and her grandson Harry D. Copper.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Copper Parker (Edward Gerhart), and her son Harry Copper Jr. (Gerilyn Copper); her three grandchildren, Sean Copper (Mary Lou Copper), Renee Levering (David Levering), and William Copper (Coco Copper); and her three great grandchildren Bythia Copper, Vincent Copper, and Olivia Copper.

A Memorial Service will be at 11AM on March 14, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, 101 S. Decatur St. Strasburg, PA 17579. Interment will be private in Arlington National Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the church on March 14th, 2026.
