Virginia A. "Ginger" Lang, 66, of Aurora, Illinois passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at her home. She was born on February 5, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois.
Ginger was a proud Chicago native. She graduated with honors from Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois with a degree in Theater and Speech Communications. After graduation she was employed in the theater and related unions including United Scenic Artists, and Actors' Equity Association. She was active in local politics and worked as Treasurer for numerous campaigns.
She is survived by her husband of thirty three years, Mark Wade; two sisters, Christine (Michael) O'Hara, Margaret (Edward) Yakush; three sisters-in-law, Linda Trostle, Michele Wade, and Wendy Wade; five nieces and nephews, Mathew (Kirstin) Trostle, Erin Trostle, Amanda (Kurt) Lipa, Alexander Yakush, and Adam (Samantha) Yakush; several great nieces and nephews; her cousin, James Kaufmann; her devoted friend, Martha MacMorris; many other cousins and friends.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, William and Irene (Narbut) Lang, and her brother-in-law, A. Edward Wade.
Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois. 630-631-5500.
