Virginia Lewis Obituary
Virginia is survived by her son, Scott Morgan Lewis; granddaughters, Evelyn Lewis, Lillian Lewis; brother, Henry A. Morgan, Jr., cousins, Jan (Jeff) Sutherland, former daughter-in-law Renee Hobbs and numerous loved ones.
Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Education at Auburn University in Alabama and then her Master of Science in Audiology and Speech Pathology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Virginia worked for the Metro School system as an audiologist and speech pathologist, including many years at Harris Hillman School. She was then able to enjoy extensive world travel with her husband Irvin and later on her own. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. Virginia was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church for many years.
There will be visitation Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 11:30am until 1:30pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:30pm all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.

Scott, Art and family, I worked with Gingy at the Metro Health Dept. many years ago, but she and I kept in touch. She was a joy to know, what a lovely lady she was and I will truly miss her cards and notes sent over
the past 60 years. So sad to learn of her passing at this late date. God Blessing to you all.
