"My Sweetie, Forever would not have been long enough. No longer by my side, but forever in my heart."

Virginia V. Miller, affectionately known as Ginny, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on October 7, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on July 7, 1946, in New Bedford, MA, she was a beacon of joy, warmth and strength throughout her life.

An only child, Ginny's early years in New Bedford were filled with the love of her parents, who preceded her in death. Ginny leaves her devoted husband, Harold D. Miller, with whom she shared an unwavering bond of love and companionship. Harold loved her, her whole life and will miss her for the rest of his. Ginny also leaves a stepdaughter, Nikki Harris, who was always inspired by Ginny's kindness and her ability to make a house a home.

She graduated from New Bedford High School with a heart for adventure, and Ginny embarked on a career as a stewardess with American Airlines, a role that would cross paths with her beloved husband and their shared passion for all things aviation. Her meticulous work ethic led her to a second career as a respected accountant.

Those who knew Ginny will remember her for her creative spirit, which shone brightly in every craft she touched. Her dogs, ever-present companions, whom she considered her angels with four feet, were a source of boundless joy and comfort to her, and she cared for them with the same tenderness she showed to all living things.

Virginia "Ginny" V. Miller's vibrant presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were graced by her kindness.

"When you see me out of the corner of your eye, I am really there. When you sense me around the place, I am really there. I haven't left you, not really. My spirit is everywhere, but especially with you."
