Virginia Grace Thomas, A long - time resident of Geary County, Died on May 6, 2025, at the age of 65.
She was born in Wurzburg, Germany during 1959, to Maria Wilhelmima Thomas and Gwynne Norwood Thomas (SFC USA Retired), who preceded her in death. Ms. Thomas graduated from Junction City High School in 1977, then returned to school in 1987, graduating with honors from Kansas State University in 1990, with a degree in social work.
Ms. Thomas's work history included employment with the State Of Kansas, Department Of Defense and Department of The Army. She retired in 2022, after 25 years of Federal Service at Fort Riley.
Ms. Thomas requested that no viewing or service be held upon her death, with no flowers desired. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Junction City Animal Shelter, in the name of Virginia Grace Thomas.
Her burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in Junction City, Kansas.
